Ben Higgins may be a little confused and a little lost but he’a doing alright after his split from Lauren Bushnell. "The Bachelor" thinks that any situation that leaves anyone broken can be turned into a beautiful thing. Ben feels confident that that’s what’s going to happen after he picks up the pieces of their broken engagement.
Right now, the heartache could only be described as still very fresh. According to Ben Higgins, it is specially hard because he spent so much time with Lauren Bushnell and he sincerely believed that she was the one for him. Ben is speaking for one of the first times about how he’s doing on being a bachelor again. He admitted that it’s tough but said that Lauren will always be one of his best friends.
Ben Higgins shared, "It's [a relationship] where I learned a lot about myself; I think she learned a lot about herself.” He thinks that Lauren Bushnell knows him better than anybody else. On hindsight, Ben agrees with a lot of people that the warning signs of a breakup were there. For one, Ben reveals that they saw that life was getting more difficult reports E! News. Then, the joy they both felt at the beginning of their relationship seemed to be slipping away for some reason.
The 29-year-old Colorado native admitted that the split was long time coming and they didn’t want to drag it out. In the final days of his relationship with Lauren Bushnell, Ben Higgins said that there was "no real saving or redemption to be done.” He now thinks that what happened next in their relationship was for the best.
It was revealed that Lauren Bushnell took most of their furniture even before she moved back to Los Angeles in late April. A source close to Ben Higgins’ now ex said that Lauren wants to pursue her fashion career according to People. She is currently not interested in pursuing the dating scene. Even Ben said that even thinking of entering a new relationship at this point seems odd. He credits Lauren for making him a better man than he was two years ago.
