Jill, Jessa, Jinger and Joy Duggar have taken legal action over the molestation scandal that involved them and their brother Josh Duggar. Surprisingly, the law suit will not be against their alleged molester nor their parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, who attempted to cover it up.

The four Duggar sisters filed a federal breach-of-privacy suit against In Touch, Arkansas City of Springdale, Arkansas’ Washington County and members of the Springdale Police Department. The magazine were provided with police documents by the enforcement units through a Freedom of Information Act request in 2015.

The Duggar sisters claim that they were assured that their statements would not be made public during the 2006 investigation of the case being minors at that time. They say that under Arkansas law, information involving minors is not subject to disclosure under said Act. The sisters further allege that they were “revictimized” because, according to them, a “cosmetic redaction” in the document allowed their identification as Josh Duggar’s victims reports HuffPost.

In Touch did not identify Josh Duggar’s victims by name in its report. However, in an interview with Megyn Kelly on “The Kelly File,” Jessa and Jill identified themselves as two of the underaged victims. And now with the lawsuit, it has been confirmed that Jinger and Joy were victims as well. Now aged between 19 and 26, the sisters claim that they continue to be upset by allegations of them being victims of potential incest.

The Duggar law suit also claims that because of the In Touch report, the Duggar sisters have been “subjected to spiteful and harsh comments and harassment” on social media from those who have “chastised their personal decision to forgive their brother.” In addition, they say that the magazine used sensationalized headlines to lure readers into and exploited their pain and suffering.”

The fallout of the magazine story resulted in Josh Duggar admitting to the molestation and apologizing. He later on admitted to porn addiction after he faced another scandal. Josh used an Ashley Madison account to cheat on his wife Anna. TLC cancelled the Duggar family’s hit reality show “19 Kids and Counting.”

The Duggar sisters, however, were not let go by TLC. They appeared in the network’s documentary on sexual abuse, “Breaking the Silence.” They also have their own reality show “Jill and Jessa: Counting On.” What can you say about Jessa, Jill, Jinger and Joy Duggar’s latest action to run after a magazine and law enforcement units?
