One Direction Reunion Update: Niall Horan Gives Timeline, Admits He Misses Band

Niall Horan gave an update on the anticipated One Direction reunion in a recent magazine interview. The singer admitted that he misses his band mates and that he would drop anything to reunite with them.

Niall Horan opened up about his music and former band One Direction in his interview with Billboard magazine. Talking about the anticipated One Direction reunion, the singer admitted that he would love to perform with the band again. Horan is optimistic that the reunion will happen, although he does not know when. "When it will be, I don't know. I prefer not to do it after I'm 40. I'd prefer the next few years," he said.

Regardless of when the One Direction reunion happens, Niall Horan said he is ready to drop everything to join the band. The "Slow Hands" singer told the magazine that he is prepared to sacrifice his solo career if the opportunity to reunite with his friends comes knocking. "I don't give a s**t if I sold out arenas or won Grammys. I wouldn't be doing this if it wasn't for that," he said.

In the same interview, the 23-year old also talked about his life without One Direction. Niall Horan admitted that he sometimes feels a bit naked without his former band mates Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles and Zayn Malik. He admitted that he has yet to get used to being by himself after working and touring together with the band for five years.

However, this does not mean that he has lost touch with his band mates. Niall Horan said that he sees Louis Tomlinson and his son Freddie all the time, since they live close to each other in Los Angeles. Horan also has plans to meet up with Harry Styles and give his present to Liam Payne's 2-month old son.

This is not the first time Niall Horan has talked about the One Direction reunion. He told The Sun that the reunion could take place after a year, when the boys are not too busy with their respective solo careers. He also assured that everyone will definitely be on board.

Fans have been asking for a One Direction reunion ever since the band went on hiatus in 2015. So far, only Niall Horan and Zayn Malik have opened up about the possibility in the future.
