It's been more than a year since the last time fans have seen Kaneki Ken on TV. The last time has been, dramatic, with Hide's death and Anteiku destroyed, it seems like Kaneki lost everything he has. With his ultimate defeat in the hands of Arima, the strongest investigator, fans want to know what happened to him after "Tokyo Ghoul" Season 2.
With the turn of events, more questions were left unanswered. "Tokyo Ghoul" season 3 is expected to answer questions that are plaguing the mind of its audiences. It was earlier announced that the third season will come this year, after another season of "One Punch Man". But Viz Media later corrected the statement, stating that the anime that would have another season this year is "My Hero Academia", as reported by Celebeat.
The reason for the delay is said to be the lack of material for the anime adaptation, as reported by TV Season & Spoilers. This renders "Tokyo Ghoul" season 3 2017 release impossible. Though impatient fans can check the live adaptation of the manga which will be released on July 29, 2017. Some of the cast members are already announced and there are screenshots of the scenes already available on the internet.
The live adaptation of "Tokyo Ghoul" includes Minosuke Bando to play Uta. Masataka Kubota will play Kaneki Ken. Fumika Shimizu will play Toka Kirishima. Yuu Aoi, who played "Rurouni kenshin" Megumi, will play Rize Kamishiro. Noboyuki Suzuki from EXILE will play Investigator Kotaro Amon, while Yo Oizumi will play Kureo Mado. kai Ogasawara will play Hide Nagachika.
