Plenty of actors have shown interest in getting cast in the future Star Wars: Episode VII film, and now you can throw Harry Potter into the race. Actor Daniel Radcliffe has publicly stated that he would not be afraid of joining another franchise, and said that Star Wars would be one he would love to join. Also, while rumors around "Fringe" star John Noble being cast have been denied, that does not mean the actor is not interested in a role!
Earlier this year, rumors that John Noble had been cast very early for the next Star Wars film started circulating, but were then debunked. But don't count him out just yet. Recently, the 64-year-old "Fringe" star stated that he would really like to join the franchise.
"I mean I'd love to do Star Wars," he said. "That would just be epic doing something like that. And it's not beyond the realm of possibility. I have a terrific relationship with J.J. Abrams and Bad Robot, I really do. So it's not beyond the realm of possibility. It's awhile away yet. [...] Well, I mean Star Wars. If you're going to do one [franchise], do Star Wars. I mean seriously, if you're going to pick one to do, do that one. Because that's basically a cultural revolution. It reset pop culture in some ways. So if I had to choose one, it would be that one."
Another, younger actor has also thrown his hat into the casting pool. The 23-year-old Harry Potter star recently said that he is not afraid of joining a new film franchise.
"'Franchise' mustn't become a dirty word," Radcliffe said. "If directors like J.J. Abrams and Joss Whedon keep doing what they're doing, it won't be. I'd love to be part of one again. Maybe not leading it: a nice supporting role. In Star Wars? Yeah, that'd be awesome. That'd be crazy cool."
In the literary world of Star Wars, J.W. Rinzler has written a book entitled The Making of The Return of the Jedi, which comes out October 1. Check out the book trailer for it right here:
