Rumors involving Jennifer Lopez's return to "American Idol" for season 13 gained some steam today when the vocalist was reported to be seen meeting up with Ryan Seacrest, one of the last remaining stalwarts from the original lineup.

There was nothing official or announced about the meeting, but it certainly got the gossip juice flowing. Perez Hilton listed a statement from his "insider."

"J.Lo was driven there by her regular driver. Ryan arrived simultaneously, and didn't look happy to have been spotted," they wrote.

For those keeping track, Lopez hosted seasons 10 and 11 along with Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Aerosmith frontman Steve Tyler.

Of course, as Lopez reminded her followers on Twitter, she had appeared on Seacrest's radio show. "Idol" was discussed, but Lopez claimed to know little about developments with the show.

"I don't know what's happening over there," she said. "I don't know. We will see. I'm always open to the infinite possibilities that the universe has to offer. So you never know."

Clueless or coy? You decide.

Some fans seemed excited for Jenny to return.

On the "not rumor" side of things, FOX worked quickly to replace producers Nigel Lythgoe and Ken Warwick, who announced their exits only this morning. It was announced Monday afternoon that the producer of "Swedish Idol," Per Blankens will step into the role.

Season 12 featured the lowest viewing numbers in the show's history, and it looks like FOX was desperate to get some new blood in the system. Blankens has won several awards in Sweden for his work as a producer.

It's old news that both Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj won't return for season 13 after snapping at each other off-and-on throughout, but now word on whether fellow judge Keith Urban will return. Randy Jackson, the last judge from the original lineup announced early in the season that it would be his last.
