All aboard! After announcing the artists who will be joining Weezer on the 2014 rendition of their infamous vacation last month, the quirky alternative rock band released a teaser video today (June 13), introducing fans and potential vacationers to next February's lineup.
The three-and-a-half minute preview strings together music video clips from the 13 acts that will sail away to an "Island in the Sun" with Weezer and fans. Acts included in the promo clearly take influence from Weezer, who have been active in the alternative rock scene since 1992.
Here's a breakdown of the bands performing at the Nassau, Bahamas, mega-concert:
DIIV- Brooklyn, New York, indie rockers with a penchant for spacey, dreamy shoegaze
The Cribs- A three piece harder post-punk band from England; these guys are perhaps best known for their 2005 single "Hey Scenesters!"
Ash- Contemporaries of Weezer and longtime friends of the band, Ash is an alt rock group from Downpart, Ireland. Their sound sails smoothly with Rivers Cuomo and crew.
Holyf*ck- These guys are an electronic band from Canada that will surely make one boogey. May or may not actually be cats.
Palma Violets- A two-year-old noisey garage band from London. Most well known for "Best of Friends," the track that appears in the promo.
Toro Y Moi- Synthpop solo act from South Carolina. Also known as Chazwick Bundick.
Bleached- Female-fronted punk band from L.A. Their debut album Ride Your Heart was just released on Apr. 2.
Caveman- Poppy, cutesy rock from New York. Their track "My Time" can be heard in commercial synchs.
The Orwells- Chaotic garage rock revivalists who know how to put the "noise" in Illinois(e). Their second album is slated for release by late summer.
Ozma- Perhaps the band on the bill most similar in style to Weezer, these rockers will be the only group (other than Weezer) to have also performed on the 2012 cruise.
Cat Power- Seen at festivals all across the world, this indie songstress is best known for her 2012 album Sun.
The Relationship- Featuring Weezer guitarist Brian Bell, and have a more in-your-face sound than the guys running the cruise.
Adam Devine- Best known as the short, brunette funnyman from Workaholics, Devine also proved he has singing chops in the film Pitch Perfect.

The 2014 Weezer Cruise will take place from Feb. 13-17 of next year. The itinerary includes a four-day cruise on the Carnival Fascination with two port-of-calls in the Bahamas. Of course, the trip also includes concerts from Weezer and their supporting acts. There will also be a Q&A with the nerdy rockers, a Weezer game show and a photo session for all fans with the band.
Interested parties can book their cruise on www.weezercruise.com. Cabins are going fast, and all single rooms are sold out. However, trips can still be booked ranging in price from $649 to $5,999.
