Britney Spears isn't just promoting her own new single, "Ooh La La." The pop star is also looking to push new girl group GRL into the spotlight.
Yesterday, Spears debuted her new track on On Air With Ryan Seacreast. The song from The Smurfs 2 soundtrack went on sale on iTunes in the afternoon and comes with a free bonus song, "Vacation" from GRL.
Spears and GRL made a video announcing the deal, which was posted on YouTube yesterday. Watch the 17-second clip below:
The debut single is also featured on The Smurfs 2 soundtrack. The upbeat track about relying on friends for a good time to get away from heartbreak and finding someone new is reminiscent to girl groups of the past, such as Dream.

Meanwhile, "Ooh La La" is getting great feedback from fans. The announcement that the track was released on iTunes has over 33,000 likes on Facebook. Feedback on Twitter is almost exclusively positive.
"What does everyone think of #OohLaLa? I'm pretty sure it's my boys new favorite song :)" Spears tweeted yesterday. Responses of "So Beautiful," "Ur song is perfect" and hundreds of "I love it" tweets were the people's response.
#BuyOohLaLaOniTunes was trending yesterday, and after a day on sale was still at No. 40 on the iTunes chart as of press time.
"Ooh La La" and "Vacation" come out of the upcoming movie The Smurfs 2. "Ooh La La" has been confirmed to play during the closing credits of the film.
As MStars reported earlier this week, Britney Spears is in the studio with will.I.am working on her new studio album, which will be released before the end of the year.
