Popular YouTube group Cimorelli made a splash today (June 19) on Twitter, when the announcement of their new video "Made In America" made it to the top of the trending topics on the site.

The new clip is set to premiere a week from today. The hashtag #MadeInAmericaVideoJune26 was first introduced when band member Lisa Cimorelli tweeted "Following people who tweet #MadeInAmericaVideoJune26!!!"

The sister group got famous doing covers of popular songs such as Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" and "What Makes You Beautiful" by One Direction. Their videos have gotten up to 33 million views each.

Watch them cover Taylor Swift's "22" below:

They've been releasing EPs full of original and cover content since 2008. Yesterday, the sextet released the Made In America EP, with four original songs. The lead single off that extended play is the title track "Made In America."

As can be assumed from the title, "Made In America" is a patriotic affair, full of lyrics adoring the flag and the freedoms the U.S.A. has to offer. The song also praises the country's motto of "If you work hard, you can accomplish anything." The release of the track and its music video next week come just in time for July 4.

Fans reacted excitedly to the news of the upcoming video. They tweeted their favorite lyrics and encouraged others to do the same while using the hashtag. The pursuit to get the topic trending was successful, proving the usefulness of viral marketing.
