Katy Perry and John Mayer seem to be on again.
The couple, who break up and make up quite often were seen together over the weekend in New York City, sneaking around on what seemed like dates, according to People.
The "Teenage Dream" and "Paper Doll" singers were seen at the Greenwich Hotel Saturday night and at a Friar's Roast and the Waldorf-Astoria Monday evening.
At the roast, honoring Don Rickles, Mayer covered Frank Sinatra's "One For My Baby (and One More for the Road)," which allegedly had Perry melting into her seat. The two were also seen canoodling at the event, rubbing each other's backs and sharing kisses.
Perry recently told Vogue that she was still "madly in love" with Mayer, and that the two had only recently broken up because of their busy schedules. She also compared him to her ex-husband, comedian Russell Brand, stating that they were both "broken birds."
That statement, and Perry's well known penchant for dating bad boys doesn't seem to have stopped the couple from reuniting.
Meanwhile, Mayer has been hard at work promoting his upcoming album Paradise Valley. The album will be released Aug. 13 and is the first since his recent vocal chord surgery.
To promote Paradise Valley, Mayer released single "Paper Doll" earlier this month. The song is clearly about one of Mayer's exes, most likely country pop starlet Taylor Swift, though some circles thought the track may have been about Perry herself.
However, lyrics referencing the "22" and different colored dressed make it apparent that "Paper Doll" is a response to Swift's biting song about Mayer "Dear John."
