The Mariah Carey and Miguel duet "#Beautiful" is best known for being the first single off Mimi's indefinitely postponed album The Art of Letting Go.
The original version billed as a Mariah Carey song does feature R&B singer Miguel quite heavily. So, on Tuesday (June 25) at a show in Paris, the Grammy-winning singer performed the song solo, and did so in the beautiful crooning way that only he could pull off.
In a YouTube video that has surfaced of the live performance, the "Adorn" singer belts out "#Beautiful" with more emotion than is present in the recorded version. Miguel does vocal runs and rasps his voice while grasping at the air.
Without having to compete with Carey's vocals, Miguel was free to hit high notes and belt his heart out, which he very much does.
The singer appears to be having fun with the performance, though. Miguel's smile is visible throughout the performance. At one point, he breaks it down and has the audience wave their hands and clap along. Eventually, Miguel ends up singing "wave" and even the simple word sounds like perfection.

Miguel is set to perform in Los Angeles at the Staples Center this Saturday. After that, he's set to travel to a variety of European music festivals, so fans wanting to catch "#Beautiful" live may just have their chance.
Meanwhile, there have been no updates on Mariah Carey's album The Art of Letting Go. The "We Belong Together" songstress announced the album's delay earlier this week.
