Jared Leto in Drag on 'Candy' Magazine Cover [PHOTOS], See Pictures from Surprising Photoshoot with Terry Richardson and 30 Seconds to Mars Rocker

Jared Leto is a man who wears many hats: 30 Seconds to Mars front man, actor, former teen heartthrob. But now, Leto has thrown on a few wigs for a new role as a sexy lady.

In a photo shoot for the "First Transversal Style Magazine," Leto donned a bubblegum pink wig, a wavy blonde fixture and a curly black hairpiece and dressed in drag. Leto makes for a shockingly pretty woman.

Shot by famous photographer and Leto's friend Terry Richardson, the cover for the Summer 2013 issue of Candy Magazine shows Leto with the pink wig, bright red lipstick and big fake eyelashes, making the "Up In The Air" singer vaguely resemble Katy Perry.

Jared Leto is in this season's Candy Magazine to promote his upcoming film Dallas Buyers Club. In Leto's first on-screen performance in over four years, he will play Rayon, a drag queen who is battling AIDS. He stars opposite Matthew McConaughey and Jennifer Garner in the dramatic film. The movie will be released in December, just in time for awards season.

Leto made waves when filming the movie due to his massive weight loss and tweezed-off eyebrows.

Leto is well known as a method actor, researching roles deeply and completely altering his look and lifestyle for a movie. He famously gained weight for his portrayal of Mark David Chapman in Chapter 27 and withheld from sex and sugar for his role in Requiem for a Dream.

Candy Magazine has also featured celebrities like James Franco and Tilda Swinton on its visually-striking covers.
