Yesterday, Daily Mail writer George Stark posted an article entitled "Alec Baldwin's pregnant wife Hilaria TWEETS about Rachael Ray and anniversary gifts during James Gandolfini's funeral," and Alec Baldwin did not appreciate it (to say the least). The "30 Rock" star is known for his short temper, especially on Twitter, so it comes as no surprise that Baldwin retaliated against Stark through the social media network. 55-year-old Alec began a tirade of insults and threats aimed at Stark throughout the day, eventually leading to the deletion of his @ABFalecbaldwin account. This is not the first time Alex has deleted his Twitter account after an online altercation.
Stark's article focused on Hilaria's tweets that he claimed she posted throughout the funeral of Gandolfini. Here is an excerpt:
"It may not be considered funeral etiquette, but Alec Baldwin and his heavily pregnant wife Hilaria took to Twitter during James Gandolfini's service today.
"The pregnant yoga instructor's social media feed was full of upbeat posts while the Sopranos star's friends, family and co-stars were gripped with grief at a New York Catholic church.
"Messages included a request for ideas about wedding anniversary presents and promotional notes about her upcoming appearance on the Rachael Ray show."
After Baldwin discovered the article, the following tweets (which have since been deleted) were posted, attacking the writer:
"Someone wrote that my wife was tweeting at a funeral. Hey. That's not true. But I'm gonna tweet at your funeral."
"George Stark, you lying little bitch. I am gonna f%#@ you up."
"I want all of my followers and beyond to straighten out this fucking little bitch, George Stark."
"My wife and I attend a funeral to pay our respects to an old friend, and some toxic Brit writes this fucking trash"
"If put my foot up your fucking ass, George Stark, but I'm sure you'd dig it too much"
"I'm gonna find you, George Stark, you toxic little queen, and I'm gonna fuck...you...up"
Before deleted his Twitter account, Baldwin posted one last tweet:
"My wife DID NOT use her phone, in any capacity, at our friends funeral. Now, fuck this twitter + good luck to all of you who know the truth"
Alec's wife Hilaria also used Twitter to deny the claims of the article:
FYI I don't believe in bringing phones into a funeral and I never did and I never would
