Scottish indie rock band Belle & Sebastian have announced that they will release a new compilation album of rarities, B-sides and cut songs. The Third Eye Centre will be released on Aug. 26, according to NME.
The new, expansive release will include cut songs from the bands last three albums: Write About Love (2010), Life Pursuit (2006) and Dear Catastrophe Waitress (2003).

Belle & Sebastian are best known for their highly acclaimed 1998 album The Boy With The Arab Strap. They have also been name-dropped in popular culture, including in the Joseph Gordon-Levitt/Zooey Deschanel film (500) Days of Summer.
The Third Eye Centre will be the fourth compilation album for the band. The last such album the band put out was 2008's The BBC Sessions. In addition to these releases, Belle & Sebastian have eight studio albums and one live disc.
