DJ Earworm, best known for his end-of-the-year mash-ups, has come out with thedefinitive song of the summer. The mash-up artist has released "SummerMash '13" combining this season's biggest hits into one 4-and-a-half minute mega-song.
The songs most prominently used in the mash-up include: Daft Punk and Pharrell's "Get Lucky," Robin Thicke, Pharrell and T.I.'s "Blurred Lines," IconaPop's "I Love It," Rihanna and David Guetta's "Right Now" and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' "Can't Hold Us."
The strong, club-thumping backbeat of "I Love It" is used throughout the majority of the "SummerMash '13," though "Get Lucky" takes over the beat in the song's slightly quieter moments and during the build-up.
As is apt to happen in DJ Earworm's best mash-ups, "SummerMash '13" builds and swells to an earful of loud, hopeful-sounding music.
Closer listens reveal clips from: Demi Lovato's "Heart Attack," Pitbull and Christina Aguilera's "Feel This Moment," and Armin van Buuren and Trevor Guthrie's "This Is What It Feels Like," Bastille's "Pompeii," will.i.am and Justin Bieber's "#thatpower" and Zedd's "Clarity."

Notably missing from the mash-up is Miley Cyrus' comeback single "We Can't Stop" and "Cruise" by Florida Georgia Line feat. Nelly. Both massive Top 40 summer hits were oddly not included in the ultimate summer song, perhaps because they're more recent releases.
Pop music have so far reacted positively to the new song. Notoriously harsh YouTube comments have been kind to the DJ, saying it's his best song in years, although one Lovatic was said that Demi's "Heart Attack" was barely used in the song.
However, Demi Lovato fans can be reassured that she has this year's Fourth of July anthem.
