Pop sensation Britney Spears has been off the map for quite some time but recently released a new song that will be featured on the upcoming Smurfs 2 movie soundtrack, "Ooh La La." The song has been called "vintage Britney" by critics, meaning it is more kids friendly like her first hits. Her sons, Sean and Preston, are set to appear in the music video for this new song, too. But Spears also recently announced her new album is in the works and it might be somewhat of a "surprise" according to the 31-year-old pop star.
Really excited 2 give u a taste of my new album... can't wait 2 share what I've been working on. Going to be my most personal album ever :)

"I want to definitely take this album and have a new approach with it and make it a little different than anything I've ever done," Britney explained during an interview on "On Air With Ryan Seacrest."
"People will be surprised with this album. It will be really different. I think the kids will appreciate it, but this music will have more of a cool approach to it," she added.
According to a Billboard feature on Spears, her new album is the most anticipated new music of 2013. Britney is working with William Orbit and Will.i.am on her upcoming eighth studio album.
Besides getting read to release a new album and new music along the way, it has been rumored that Britney might have a Las Vegas gig in the works. Though the "Stronger" singer has yet to confirm this, she recently told Yahoo that is definitely a "possibility." Whether or not it is confirmed, she is at least getting in shape for this "possibility."
"I'm doing 90 minutes of yoga twice a week in addition to a lot of cardio - hour-long sessions three times a week with my trainer, Tony Martinez," Spears told Shape magazine. "The [Vegas] performances won't be simple - they'll be a massive party from start to finish. And to pull this off, I have to be in top condition and running at full speed."
