Prince William and his wife Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, are in their final week of life without a child and the whole world is buzzing with anticipation. Media outlets already have correspondents camping out outside of Buckingham Palace for the birth announcement as well as St. Mary's hospital where the actual birth will take place. Also people all over Britain are placing bets on the future heir's sex, weight, name and future occupation! But since we are in the final week before Kate's expected due date of July 11 - 17, how will the world actually find out when she goes into labor?

Within this week, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, will be delivering her first child any day now at St. Mary's Hospital's Lindo Wing. This is the same wing where the late Princess Diana delivered Princes William and Harry.

Though there is obviously going to be an official announcement of when Kate goes into labor as well as when the baby is born, but there is another, more subtle way that the public will know about the Duchess' journey to the hospital.

So, as soon as the 31-year-old Royal checks into St. Mary's, a press release will be sent on behalf of the royal family to alert the world that the future heir is officially on the way. BUT according to The Daily Mail, an armed guard will be stationed at the steps of the Lindo Wing in order to provide security for the mother-to-be.

There you have it! Once this armed guard appears at the hospital, plenty of news sources already camped out will then notify the world!

In other news about the new Royal child, we might not have a name for the baby but we do know that he or she will have a Royal title.

"The royal couple's child will officially be known as His or Her Royal Highness Prince or Princess of Cambridge," a rep for Kensington Palace confirmed to Us Weekly yesterday. This announcement comes after Queen Elizabeth II changed the century-old decree that stated that daughters would be referred to as "ladies" rather than "princesses."

So if Wills and Kate have a daughter (which most believe they will), she will have the title of Princess before her given name.
