Sweatshirt announced the title of his second full-length album back in December.
There aren’t a ton of details regarding the follow up to 2010's Earl out quite yet. However, it is known that rapper Mac Miller will feature on the song “Guild,” and that the busiest man in music Pharrell produced “Burgandy.”
In other Sweatshirt news, the rapper seems to have gotten himself into a bit of trouble on Twitter due to his dislike of Jay-Z’s new album Magna Carta Holy Grail. Yesterday, he tweeted “if you really f*cked with magna carta then unfollow me.” Hova’s army of fans attacked the Sweatshirt, who has since stated “lol my bad ill [sic] try not to have opinions any more” and “all my point was is that this album, in my opinion, is bad. im not gonna speak on that anymore unless its in person cause 140 characters is too restricting.”
Earl Sweatshirt also recently made headlines due to a string of cancelled tour dates. The rapper had to cancel all of his July shows due to pneumonia. It’s unknown when Sweatshirt will recover and begin performing again to promote Doris.
