It has truly been one sad week in the world of entertainment, as fans, friends and family mourn the loss of Kelly Rowland's mother Miss Doris Rowland Garrison and Todd Tucker's mother Miss Sharon. "MStars News" previously learned that both died Tuesday, Dec. 2. Miss Sharon died in NYC from a fatal stroke, as Miss Doris died at the age of 66 in Atlanta a few days after her birthday from an unknown illness that she had been battling for some time now. Though little is known about Rowland's mother, the singer did share a touching message about Miss Doris back in 2008. According to HNGN, Rowland revealed a sweet message about her mother and Beyoncé's mother Tina Knowles on Mother's Day: Dear Momma and Mama T, God must have thought I was really special to give me two mothers. Momma, I remember when you'd clap your hands and listen as I sang along every week to the theme song for the show "Amen." You'd look at me like I was the sun and the moon and say, "Sing up, baby ... a little louder." It meant so much that you believed in me. When we had rough times in Houston, you did your best to balance our family with your job as a live-in nanny. And I know it was difficult for you to run me back and forth for rehearsals after I joined Destiny's Child. I spent a lot of nights at the Knowleses' house. Soon a month turned into a year, then years. You came by every day, though, and cooked dinner, and we'd all eat as a family. It was because of your strength and sacrifice that I was able to dream so big. Read More »

Earl Sweatshirt dropped by Shade 45's morning radio show Sway In The Morning to promote his upcoming album Doris (though, if the rest of the album is as good as "Burgundy", "Sunday" and "Hive" that may be unnecessary). Uh-oh. Looks like Frank Ocean is reigniting his beef with Chris Brown on the Earl Sweatshirt song "Sunday." The Doris cut features an entire not-quite-veiled verse that trashes Breezy for being soft, getting beat up even when calling in two other dudes on the diminutive Ocean and, of course, not standing for the Odd Future member at the Grammys. All I can say is "Whoa." "Burgundy," the latest leak from Earl Sweatshirt's highly anticipated new album Doris, is the same sort of introspective, stomach-churning lyrical exercise we've come to expect from the Odd Future member- with one exception. Sweatshirt has cast aside the menacing rumble of beats on songs like "Hive" for a slow, spacey funk line courtesy of a resurgent Pharrell. Read More »
