Bad Kids Clothing, "an EDM clothing line run by two girls who get wild and love life," has been getting a lot of attention after producing a line of tank tops that is pretty much just a list of Taylor Swift's ex-boyfriends. If this sounds familiar, it is because Abercrombie & Fitch made a similar t-shirt that read "#more boyfriends than t.s." This shirt has since been discontinued thanks to Taylor's fans, the Swifties. But now that this new article of clothing has come out, Swift's adoring fans have started sending death threats to BKC and its founders, Lex Houser and Andi Cross.

After pictures of this shirt got around, Houser and Cross received threatening e-mails and tweets from Swifties, demanding the discontinuation of this shirt (called "TheDoherty&" after the person who thought of the idea). They decided to stand strong and only removed the name of the recently deceased Cory Montieth from the shirt out of respect for the "Glee" star.

The Swiftie Nation has been very persistent in this matter according to a few blog posts from Houser and Cross.

"I woke up this morning to 70+ emails, 20+ calls, 12 texts and about 9 BILLION tweets, all from Swifties threatening to burn Bad Kids to the ground if we did not comply with their wishes," Houser said earlier this week.

Here is an excerpt from Cross' blog post:

"The more and more Lex and I thought about it, we realized how disturbing this whole thing really was. Disturbing that kids today feel compelled to hide behind their keyboards and threaten lives of people they didn't even know in ways that were so graphic and horrific, all over a t-shirt, with references to their dearly beloved pop star. Death threats over a joke that they simply could not comprehend - all because they have bought into a pop-culture trend and made it their lifestyle."
