Motorhead Out, Pixies In For Riot Fest 2013 In Chicago

If you needed an excuse to buy tickets to Riot Fest 2013 in Chicago (whose lineup already includes sets by The Replacements, Violent Femmes, Dinosaur Jr. and X), then you just got one. Pixies have stepped in to fill the void left by Motorhead, who had to cancel their set due to lead singer Lemmy's health problems.

That's right. Pixies at Riot Fest (even though it will a Kim Deal-less incarnation of the band, it will still be the band's first since 2011). Tickets here.
