The nostalgia was heavy on last night's (July 20) Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. Full House band Jesse and The Rippers reunited after nearly 20 years to play a melody of their biggest "hits," and the New York City studio could not have been more rocking.

Committing fully to the bit, John Stamos, the actor who played Uncle Jesse Katsopolis, dressed in the best styles that the early '90s had to offer: a red dress shirt, black leather vest, gold chain necklaces and full-on mullet haircut.

Jesse and the Rippers played a medley of their greatest hits after receiving an insanely loud round of applause from the studio audience. Opening with their No. 1 (in Japan, on TV) hit ballad "Forever," the Full House band then soared through Elvis' "Little Sister" and Chan Romero's "Hippy Hippy Shake." Katsopolis even threw in his signature catch phrase "Have mercy," for all the Rippers fans out there.

The reunited group finished off their four-song medley with the theme song to Full House done in a jazzier form. A preview of the wholesome track was first heard again when Stamos posted an Instagram of the band in rehearsals earlier this week.

Uncle Jesse wasn't the only Full House member to appear on Late Night on Friday. Danny Tanner (Bob Saget) was supporting his brother-in-law/roommate in the audience, bopping along to the beat. At the end of the performance, Katsopolis' wife Becky (Lori Loughlin) gave her hubby a big old congratulatory kiss.

A sign for the Smash Club, which Uncle Jesse reopened also made a cameo.
