Disney's D23 Expo kicks off today in California at the Anaheim Convention Center. This biannual event will serve as a replacement for the Comic Con 2013 panel that did not happen in San Diego this year and will feature the J.J. Abrams-directed Star Wars: Episode VII as its main attraction. The 2015 film announcements will occur sometime tomorrow, but Disney has already hinted at some interesting Star Wars-themed projects.

What should we expect from the 2013 D23 Expo? Casting, plot and development announcements for Episode VII are obviously at the top of that list, but no official confirmation has been made for any of those topics. But two years ago at the same Expo, the cast of Marvel's The Avengers was announced, so it might not be a bad idea to assume the same will happen for J.J. film.

But if that doesn't happen (it probably will, don't worry), there will be announcements in regards to the Disney XD animated series "Star Wars Rebels" and D23 might have already broken some news on a possible "Star Wars Theme Park" of sorts.

Check out some photos that could be hinting at a theme park RIGHT HERE!

Mstars recently reported on the D23 Expo announcement earlier this year. Here is the Press Release from that article:

"Star Wars at D23 Expo! - For the first time at the D23 Expo, Star Wars fans can have access to experiences created for them by Lucasfilm and Disney. Darth Vader: The Evolution of a Villain, located in the DCP pavilion, showcases the development of the iconic villain from early concepts to striking realization. Crash Course in the Force: Star Wars Saga 101, presented by Lucasfilm's resident authority Pablo Hidalgo in Stage 23, will give Star Wars newbies and experts alike a thorough grounding in all matters of the Force and the Star Wars legacy."
