The Jonas Brothers Live Tour finally wrapped up on Saturday, Aug. 16 in Los Angeles, after 27 dates across North America. Now, fans of the "First Time" band can get a piece of the Jonas Brothers and their latest tour for themselves and support a good cause at the same time.
Today (Aug. 19), the Jonas Brothers announced that they will be auctioning off a few items for the tour for charity on their official Twitter feed. Via CharityBuzz, the JoBros are auctioning off a signed guitar, signed drumsticks and a signed T-shirt worn by Joe Jonas. The T-shirt from Joe comes with a special surprise... the logo from the band's upcoming new album "V."
Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, a charity that "provides financial assistance to all types of career musicians who are struggling to make ends meet while facing illness, disability, or age-related problems," according to the charity's website.
Check out the Jonas Brothers' auction here. As of press time, the top bid was $700, but the package is valued at $2500, so fans still have plenty of chances to bid.
This isn't by any means the first charitable venture from the Jonas Brothers. Over the weekend, the trio held a soccer match at the StubHub Center in L.A. for their own charity, Change for the Children, which backs a variety of causes near and dear to the brothers' hearts (diabetes for Nick, the Special Olympics for Joe and volunteerism for Kevin).
Nick Jonas also won the Acuvue Inspire Award at the Teen Choice Awards earlier this month for bringing awareness to diabetes, a disease the young singer/producer/actor suffers from.
