Earlier this week, hip-hop artist Drake proved to his Instagram and Twitter followers that his life can be as mundane as others despite his fame. Thanks to a video uploaded to his Instagram account, we now know that Drake had been pulled over for some reason or another by a female police officer that the rapper described as "cute." Drake also mentioned that he wasn't pleased to be pulled over in the morning.
"Too early for this. Too early," he said with his camera aimed at his rearview mirror. This angle gave viewers an okay view of the officer parked behind the rapper preparing to come over to talk to him.
As you know, Instagram video is different than the popular video-sharing app Vine. The latter lets you take 6 seconds of video, whereas Instagram allots 15 seconds. That said, Drake filled the rest of his video (which actually ended up being only 12 seconds) by complimenting the officer that had just pulled him over.
"She's cute, too," he said. "For real."
The 26-year-old "Started From the Bottom" rapper was reportedly stopped for not having a front license plate on his vehicle, though, as we can see from this video, he was a bit distracted by the cop's appearance.
His Instagram video was accompanied by the following caption:
"Mrs. Officer on a draw down ting," he captioned the video. "#BwoyDem #ActuallyGyalDem #NeedAFrontPlate #ExcuseToPullOverTheBoy #LovedHerSmile #HatedHerAccent #NWTS."
