Though fans are just now getting used to Lady Gaga's first "Artpop" single "Applause," it seems as though another new tune from the Mother Monster is on the way. Yesterday (Aug. 28) on her official YouTube page, Gaga posted a video of rehearsals from her iTunes Festival performance, and a new song "Swine" was revealed in a minute-long snippet.
"I know, I know, I know, I know you want me / You're just a pig inside a human body / Squeal, squeal, squeal... / You're just a pig inside, swine," Gaga croons while playing the piano. The instrumentation behind Gaga then explodes into a strongly EDM-infused musical extravaganza as she screams "Swine!"
The hashtag #SwineFest instead of iTunes Fest is used in the promotion. Watch the preview of the new song from Lady Gaga below.
This isn't the first time Gaga has teased "Swine." The singer has been teasing her iTunes festival performance all week on Twitter, with acceptable fashion for "Swinefest," which includes a "BEDAZZLED PIG NOSE" and "starfish."
Lady Gaga also revealed a few more lyrics from "Swine" on her Twitter. "Maybe I should have a little more / Just to stay out of my mind? / 'Cause it's when I'm not thinkin' with you / That I act like a swine," she wrote yesterday.
"Swine," along with an hour's worth of new music will be debuted at the iTunes Music Festival in London on Sept. 1. Though it's unclear what place exactly "Swine" has on her new album, be it a second single or not, it's sure to appear on "Artpop." Lady Gaga's third studio album will be released Nov. 11.
