The Avengers: Age of Ultron is one of the most anticipated sequels in Marvel's history. Director Joss Whedon has been dropping hints here and there but one of the biggest casting updates just came out today. The main villain, Ultron, has been cast and iconic actor James Spader is filling that role. But will Spader where a suit, do mo-cap, or just voice the robotic antagonist?
Here is an excerpt from Marvel's official announcement:
James Spader will face off against Earth's Mightiest Heroes as the villain in Marvel's "Avengers: Age of Ultron," the sequel to 2012's record-breaking "Marvel's The Avengers." The Emmy Award-winning actor will play Ultron in the Avengers' much anticipated return to the big screen from writer/director Joss Whedon. The film comes to theaters on May 1, 2015.
