Back when "The Late Show with David Letterman" started its run on CBS in 1993, Bill Murray was the first guest. He was also the first gust on Letterman's first late night talk show on NBC back in 1982. So it was fitting that the iconic actor appeared on the 20th anniversary special for Letterman's CBS show. What made it even better is that Murray dressed up like Liberace for some reason. Also, the funnyman sand Dolly Parton's "I Will Always Love You." Is his cover as good as Whitney Houston's?

This, of course, was how Murray ended his guest appearance on the 20th anniversary episode, but there was plenty of great stuff beforehand.

Check out his black eye and the bandages. It looked like he had been in some serious altercation, but it turns out he was just wearing makeup for laughs. Back in December of 2012, Murray appeared on "The Late Show with David Letterman" and played out a kidnapping.
