David Letterman might have been one of the best interviewers in late night history, but it seems that even he had a few that he was either: a) nervous about, or b) disappointed with. In a new interview, his first since leaving The Late Show a number of weeks back, Letterman admitted that he wishes he could do his last interview with friend and famed musician Warren Zevon over again. Well, it's over, readers. David Letterman just finished up his final episode of The Late Show. And while the night was filled with absolute hilarity and absurdity, there were some major moments of emotion, which is funny considering how much Letterman has been known for not showing emotion. It’s the end of TWO eras for CBS, apparently. It's the final week of Late Shows. With that, David Letterman decided to do something special for last night's Top 10 List – he invited ten members of his staff out to read one of the last lists of the series. The final one, of course, will be tomorrow, Wednesday, May 20. David Letterman is winding down his legendary position as the Late Show host. Before handing the torch over to Stephen Colbert, Letterman is having a slew of A-list guests on the final episodes of his program. One such name will be the Dave Matthews Band. And now only will DMB be performing on the show, they will also reportedly perform a 45-minute set on what’s called Legends on Letterman. The mini-concert will air the day before their Late Show appearance, which is Friday, May 8.
