It seems like yet another rising musician is in trouble for drugs. Over the weekend, "Everything Is Embarrassing" singer Sky Ferreira and DIIV band member Zachary Cole Smith were arrested in Saugerties, New York, for possession of drugs, possession of stolen property and aggravated unlicensed driving.

According to Pitchfork and The Daily Freeman, the indie rock couple was arrested in the mid-size New York town in the early morning on Saturday (Sept. 14) in a 1990 Ford pickup truck. Smith was reportedly driving without regards for traffic or vehicle laws, leading to the musicians getting pulled over.

Then, it was revealed that the truck was stolen property and that Smith was wanted for an outstanding vehilcle and traffic warrant.

Upon his arrest, police found Smith with "42 decks of heroin" and Ferreira had ecstasy on her person. She also resisted arrest, according to the police report.

Despite the drug possession and outstanding warrant, all counts against Smith and Ferreira are misdemeanors. They are not out of jail on bail.

The couple then returned to work. On Saturday night, DIIV performed a concert in Hudson, New York.

Ferreira is best known for her single "Obsession" from 2010. She's released a string of EPs and has a debut album, "Night Time, My Time" due out on Oct. 29, after multiple delays.

Meanwhile, Smith is best known for being the lead singer of indie rock band DIIV. Their debut album, "Oshin" dropped in June 2012.
