Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards got engaged just about a month ago, but the young couple is already thinking about a wedding date with some sources saying it could happen by Christmas of this year! But with such busy professional schedules and rushed planning, is this highly anticipated wedding already hitting a snag? According to an insider, these plans are now "up in the air."

"They ideally want to be married by Christmas, preferably in an exotic location, and Zayn has promised that money is no object - there's talk of a £1 million budget. No one doubts they're crazy about each other, but plans are proving difficult as Zayn and Perrie are both so busy," a source explained.

Clearly the young couple will have a lot of issues to work out, so do you think they should hold off on the wedding for now?

"Everyone hoped that Perrie and Zayn would have a long engagement because marriage is such a big step at their age," the insider said. "Their families are reassuring them there's no need to rush and they have their whole lives ahead of them."

The source added: "They've had to discuss waiting until next June, although neither of them wants to wait. Perrie has confided that she sometimes feels like the odds are stacked against them and that they're never going to find a date that works for everyone. Everything is up in the air."

Another source is saying that Zayn will be choosing Niall Horan as best man at the wedding over his other One Direction band mates. The five heartthrobs might all be best friends, but Zayn apparently wants only one best man for his ceremony.

"Niall is certain he will be the one," a source revealed.
