It seems as though the dating rumors between "Almost Is Never Enough" collaborators Ariana Grande and Nathan Sykes are true. According to Grande's father, Edward Butera, the two are together and very happy.
On Sept. 14, Butera sent out a simple message on Twitter, all but fully confirming that the two are a couple. "Nathan, thanks for making my baby the happiest I've ever heard her be!!! Her Father," he wrote. Butera then added some fatherly threats: "Nat ...break her heart I break your ass."
Though neither Grande nor Sykes have officially confirmed or spoken about the nature of their relationship, it seems as though Butera has no guards on interacting with Sykes on Twitter. Earlier this month, he asked Sykes on a fishing trip. Though he insisted that Sykes and his daughter were just friends at that point, it seems as though tides have turned.
Although, that doesn't mean that Butera doesn't still want to take his daughter's new beau fishing.
@NathanTheWanted likewise- do you know how to fish?

Though Grande has remained coy about her relationship with Sykes, she did acknowledge their interaction, and she reacted just like a daughter whose new boyfriend is getting grilled by her father! "daddy omg please why the questions," she wrote on Twitter in response to Butera's fishing inquiry.
Grande and Sykes first met while recording the "Yours Truly" track "Almost Is Never Enough." The two apparently hit it off, and dating rumors began to fly once Grande and her longtime boyfriend Janoskians member Jai Brooks broke up.
Though there were rumors of a rekindling after Brooks showed up at one of Grande's shows and said she looked "beautiful," the former couple are just friends now.
