This constant overflow of casting rumors surrounding Star Wars: Episode VII will most likely end once the film actually comes out in 2015, so don't expect them to slow down any time soon. That said, a new name has been linked to the J.J. Abrams directed film (allegedly titled A New Dawn), and this time it isn't an actor who previously worked with him (see: Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonathan Rhys Meyers)!
The latest star rumored to be joining the highly anticipated cast is Saoirse Ronan. This young actress has reportedly been asked to come in and read for an unknown part, so she still has yet to be cast. If these rumors are true, however, we could put it together with another rumor about the Episode VII villain being a young female.
So did Ronan read for the role of the main antagonist of the anticipated film? Again, this is speculation (and also excitement) so keep checking back for updates.
There is also the casting call sheet from earlier this year that had plenty of female roles, though, so maybe she read for one of these?
Latino Review (which also broke the Ronan casting news) also states that the next film will partially be shot in The City of Crosses, Las Cruces.
