Tonight is the biggest night in television: the 65th Annual Primetime Emmys will air tonight on CBS. Neil Patrick Harris, best known for his charismatic personality and Barney Stinson role on "How I Met Your Mother" will host. The show begins at 8 p.m. on CBS for those with televisions.
For those without TV, live streams are available online. Gossip Cop will be running a live stream of the broadcast here, starting at 8 p.m. For those who want a little more information on the 2013 Emmys, E! Online will stream red carpet coverage, featuring celebrity interviews beginning at 6 p.m. here. Additionally, the Emmys will be streaming backstage footage of the award show on their official website here.
The 65th Primetime Emmys stray from the typical television award show with their celebration of paid, premium television services. HBO and Netflix are the two channels with the most nominations tonight, with 37 and 22, respectively. Shows with major nominations include: "30 Rock," "American Horror Story," "Breaking Bad" and "Modern Family."
In addition to host Neil Patrick Harris, the Emmys boast major star power this year. Alec Baldwin ("30 Rock"), Bryan Cranston ("Breaking Bad"), Jimmy Fallon ("Late Night With Jimmy Fallon") and Matt Damon are just a few of the big names presenting awards.
