Earlier this week, Britney Spears made the unsurprising announcement that she has taken a residency at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas beginning in Decemeber. New details about the two-year deal are slowly coming together. Today (Sept. 20), Spears called in to the Ryan Seacrest radio show to talk about her show in Vegas, and it seems like it's going to be a splash!
"Every time I do a show, I like to bring it, and I love to be entertained, coming from the show and acting like you're coming from the theater and all that. I love to put on a show. We're going to have all the works. There's going to be snow, water, rain, everything. So, I'm just really excited," said Spears.
As any Britney fan knows, the Planet Hollywood residency isn't the only thing that she has in the well. On Sunday (Sept. 15), Spears released her new single "Work Bitch," the first from her upcoming album.
Though the club-banging, will.i.am produced single is an ode to Spears' gay fans, according to the singer, the rest of the album will take on a markedly different tone, and Spears has chalked it up to being her most personal effort to date.
"It's one of the most personal albums I've ever done, from breaking up, having a huge break up earlier this year, and you know, I just had a lot to say in the studio, and it was really nice," said Spears. She noted that singing love songs in the midst of a break up is not upsetting like it may seem. Instead, she finds the act to be therapeutic.

The yet-to-be-titled album will hit stores on Dec. 3.
