It's a mix of rock and electronic music in the latest single from "Clarity" artist Zedd. Today (Sept. 23), he released a music video for his new single "Stay the Night," featuring Paramore singer Hayley Williams.
The track, "Stay The Night" explores that moment in the middle of an argument or broken part of a relationship. "I know that we are upside down/ So hold your tongue and hear me out / I know that we were made to break / So what? I don't mind," Williams sings in the song's opening moments. The relationship won't last forever, but that doesn't mean they can't spend the night together.
The concept of the track is reflected in its music video. Sporting her recent, choppy flame red haircut, Williams stares into the camera, shaking her head. Scenes of a well choreographed couple dueling for couch space echoes the space needed or not needed in a relationship.
Meanwhile, the mastermind behind it all, Zedd, plays the piano simply in the background.
It's a beautiful visual accompaniment to the track, adding supplemental information about the song's meaning.

"Stay The Night" is the first single from the deluxed edition of Zedd's debut album "Clarity," which was led by the Billboard Top 10 single of the same name (featuring Foxes). "Clarity: The Deluxe Edition" drops tomorrow, Sept. 24.
