Zayn Malik, Perrie Edwards Wedding News & Rumors: One Direction Hunk's Fiance Confirms Little Mix Bridesmaids, Reveals Plans Delayed & On Hold

In a new interview with The Mirror Little Mix songstress Perrie Edwards revealed that she has yet to start planning her wedding for her marriage to One Direction's Zayn Malik. This news contradicts previous reports of sources claiming the two wanted to get married by Christmas, 2013, but back up the other claims about a Summer 2014 wedding.

"I haven't started making any decisions yet wedding-wise," she explained. "But I'm excited to start planning it all. I can't wait."

Previously, an insider said, "Everyone hoped that Perrie and Zayn would have a long engagement because marriage is such a big step at their age. Their families are reassuring them there's no need to rush and they have their whole lives ahead of them."

The source added: "They've had to discuss waiting until next June, although neither of them wants to wait. Perrie has confided that she sometimes feels like the odds are stacked against them and that they're never going to find a date that works for everyone. Everything is up in the air."

It looks like this source was right!

Meanwhile, Perrie also revealed her plans for bridesmaids in the new interview.

"Little Mix aren't bridesmaids material..." she joked. "I'm joking! Imagine if I didn't have them? I wouldn't take one off to the side and say 'Oh you've made the cut' and then say to the other two 'Sorry guys'. It's all or nothing with these girls."

So it looks like Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jesy Nelson are Perrie's bridesmaids after all!
