The tracklist for the highly anticipated soundtrack to "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" was announced today (Sept. 26), and the movie franchise is bringing together big names and up-and-comers to create a diverse musical journey.
Unlike the soundtrack to the first "Hunger Games" film, which largely featured country and folk rock artists, the soundtrack to "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" is a mixed bag. Critically-acclaimed newcomers Lorde, The Lumineers and The Weeknd add different genres to the mix, which also features musical big wigs Coldplay and Christina Aguilera.
Coldplay released a lyric video for their "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" song, "Atlas" on Sept. 6. Today (Sept. 26), Aguilera previewed her offering, "We Remain."
