Last week, "The Way" singer Ariana Grande teased that when she reached 10 million followers on Twitter, she would release her early single and fan favorite track "Pink Champagne" to celebrate. Yesterday (Oct. 1), the "Sam & Cat" star surpassed the 10 million mark and, as promised, released a YouTube video including a studio version of the happy-go-lucky single.
The nearly five-minute clip began with a grateful message from Grande herself. "I cannot believe I have 10 million followers on Twitter; that's the craziest thing in the world," she said. "I'm so lucky to have you guys. My fans are my family, and I'm so grateful for all of you." She also remarked her thankfulness for her fans being there for her "at all times" and their massive support of her No. 1 album "Yours Truly."

Grande then got into an explanation of "Pink Champagne," the lost single from her earliest days as a recording artist. Referring to it as her "fetus music," Grande explained that it didn't fit the vibes of "Yours Truly," but she wanted her fans to hear it because "I know it makes you so happy."
"Pink Champagne" itself is markedly different from anything on Grande's debut album and is far closer to youthful, bubblegum pop of days gone by. The light, fluffy track celebrates good times and is so girly that the champagne one pops to celebrate must be pink.
Small electronic blips highlight the bubbly track, which is marked by Grande's airy vocals at times and happy-go-lucky blasts of vocals at other times.
