Katy Perry 'Prism' Trailer Released Before Oct. 22 Release Date: Short Clip Features Whistle Version of 'Roar,' CDs Arriving in Stores [VIDEOS]

Katy Perry's third studio album "Prism" is on its way to stores. Due to be released on Oct. 22, the "Roar" singer has released the first teaser trailer for the album.

The short and simple clip teases the "Prism" album release quickly. Someone is wheeling massive boxes full of "Prism" CDs, strolling down the aisle of a superstore (think Walmart) and whistling the album's lead single "Roar." The person is revealed to likely be Perry herself after a tiger-themed manicure and a sexy purple jumpsuit are revealed as a part of their uniform.

Katy Cats, Perry's dedicated fans, can likely expect more "Prism" trailers leading up to the record's release in two weeks. Before "Roar" debuted in August, Perry revealed a series of trailers setting up the darker "Prism" era and the song's introduction.

Similarly to the "Roar" teasers, subsequent "Prism" trailers will likely add in length.

Perry is in promotion mode leading up to the release of "Prism." Over the weekend, the diva stopped by "Saturday Night Live" to perform lead single "Roar" and album track "Walking On Air."

Moreover, Perry has announced the title of the second "Prism" single: "Unconditionally." Teased as her favorite album on the track and a universal love song, the track has yet to receive an official release date. However, it can be expected to hit radio ahead of the album's release.
