The Wanted's upcoming American debut album Word of Mouth has sprung a small leak, in demo form at least. Two unpolished tracks from the "Show Me Love" group have surfaced on YouTube, and the banging tracks have the potential to blow other pop tracks out of the water.
"Glow in the Dark," the first of the two tracks to arrive online features a classic dance beat while incorporating modern EDM beats, with vocal effects featuring heavily in the chorus and post-chorus. The banging track has a huge club feel, making it likely to become another big dance hit for the UK boy band.
"Summer Alive," the second leaked demo, follows the electronic vibes of "Glow in the Dark." Though it slows the tempo down a bit, the track does incorporate some summer elements. "Bang on the drum under the sun / All night long under the moonlight," they sing in the post-chorus with heavy tropical vibes. It's easy to feel by the Jamaican waters with this track, as The Wanted do keep the "Summer Alive."
After multiple delays, including a two month push back in September, Word of Mouth is finally due to drop on Nov. 4. The album has been preceded by multiple singles, including last year's smash hit "Chasing the Sun" as well as "We Own The Night" and, most recently, "Show Me Love (America)."
