Earlier this year, a Fantastic Four reboot was announced but updates have been few and far between ever since. One main name thrown around for a role was Miles Teller. The young actor has been slowly building a name in Hollywood and is likely to take on the role of Reed Richards, A.K.A. Mr. Fantastic, in the upcoming movie directed by Josh Trank.
Other young actors have also been tied in with this role (Kit Harington (Jon Snow on HBO's Game of Thrones), Jack O'Connell (Cook from Skins)), but now a new interview with Teller all but confirmed his casting in the role.
When asked about the reboot, he said: "Uh, you know, I don't know. If that happens, if everything works out, then I will be pretty pumped. But then I'll also be working for... it's like seven months out of your year. Which is not a bad problem."
It seems like Teller would really like this project and his involvement in it to work out. What do you think of this possible casting news?
Miles also spoke briefly about his other projects in the works.
Right now I'm kind of hanging out," he explained. "I don't have anything that I'm doing until probably January or February. I don't know 100%. Obviously Insurgent, the next Divergent film... I think they are going to start the second one in April."
Miles can next be seen in the upcoming film That Awkward Moment with Zac Efron and Michael B. Jordan. Check out a trailer for this movie RIGHT HERE!
