There's only six days remaining until the release of Lady Gaga's new album Artpop, but the "Do What U Want" singer's camp is getting a major shakeup. After six years of working together, Gaga and her dedicated manager Troy Carter have parted ways.

According to Showbiz411, the previously unstoppable business partners decided to split over "creative differences." Reportedly, Gaga is making all creative and business decisions on her own, from the rollout of Artpop to choosing its tracklisting and singles, and "doesn't take direction anymore."

That may or may not be the case, however. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter earlier this year, Carter told the entertainment news site that his relationship with Gaga had one handling creative and the other handling business. According to Carter, he would handle 95 percent of business decisions and she would handle 95 percent of creative decisions.

Carter has been working with Gaga at Interscope records since 2007 and is largely responsible for launching her into mega-stardom. "She was very specific about her vision, all of the music was there, and all she needed was someone to help her translate it to the rest of the world, which is where I came in," Carter told THR.

Neither Gaga nor Carter have officially confirmed their parted ways.

There's no indication of what this will mean for further promotion of Artpop or how much the promotion of the album played into Gaga and Carter parting ways. Regardless, the record is still set to be released on Nov. 11.
