Zayn Malik, Perrie Edwards Wedding News & Rumors: Little Mix songstress wants Journey's Steve Perry to perform at 2014 ceremony w/ 1D as ushers

Considering both Zayn Malik and his fiancé Perrie Edwards are in hit pop groups, one would think that acquiring a wedding band would be quite easy. In the past, the young couple has explained that neither One Direction would be performing at the ceremony, which is very understandable, but they probably have plenty of connections for the perfect band. Well according to Edwards, she only wants one performing singing to her on her big day: former Journey frontman Steve Perry!

When asked about her choice of music for her wedding, Edwards responded: "I really, really hope... well Little Mix... and Steve Perry from Journey - it would just be my dream - I don't know if it's going to happen."

"I need him!" she added.

Do you think Zayn will pull this off? Well if he can't, Edwards' Little Mix girls have reassured her.

"We'll make it happen," Jesy Nelson exclaimed.

Speaking of her bandmates' roles in the wedding as bridesmaids, Perrie said, "Jesy's going to be the one who tells all the stupid jokes - she's already claimed that part!"

Though the Little Mix girls will serve as bridesmaids at the wedding, Zayn has slightly less important roles for his bandmates: ushers!

In a new interview, Perrie revealed that she tries to stay grounded as a pop star.

"When you're in this industry life's never going to be normal. As much as you try," she said. "I do whatever I want. I go shopping all the time. I go out for food. Go out with my mates. I do everything normally but obviously Zayn is really famous so it's harder for him but we still do what we want to do. We like to stay grounded and be normal people and not act like divas."
