One Direction's Irish heartthrob Niall Horan has been opening up a lot recently about his love life and even shared his personal opinions on what he looks for in a girl. That said, when a mystery brunette was seen on his arm at his nephew's christening over the weekend, dating and girlfriend rumors sprang up and made it seem like all of his romance revelations were based on this new relationship!

This mystery girl that accompanied the One Direction hunk on this special day wore a red dress and turned heads as she spent time with Niall's mother, Maura.

Held at St Michael's Church in Castletown Geoghegan, Niall stood for his nephew Theo and became a godfather. When Theo was born earlier this year to Niall's brother, Greg, and his wife Denise, the singer was named godfather. Now it's official!

Last month, Greg opened up about his famous brother's love of Theo.

"Niall's mad about him. He adores Theo, as we all do, and it's going to be a great day," Niall's brother explained. "It's just family attending the christening."

He added, "We're hoping for a low-key christening, but then again, we were hoping for a low-key wedding and we didn't get it. We always welcome the fans to Mullingar, it's nice to see them travelling all the way to get a photo with Niall."
