Toronto Mayor Rob Ford is pretty much a meltdown happening right in front of our eyes. He has admitted to smoking crack cocaine while "in a drunken stupor" and in office, and has decided to run for reelection next year. Everyone was wondering when he'd get his own reality show. Unfortunately, these "prayers" have been answered and it is currently in the works.
According to the Toronto Sun:
The Rob and Doug Ford Show is coming to Sun News Network. You read it right. The Fords are about launch their on-air platform on the small screen. The brothers have agreed to terms with Sun News to pick up where they left off with their much-listened-to show The City on Newstalk 1010. That show ended its run last week and a lot of people missed hearing it last Sunday.
Mostly the Fords.
"Rob is like Howard Stern or Rush Limbaugh," Councilor Ford said. "You just never know what he is going to say."
This show is entitled Ford Nation and is going to be airing this month. Are you going to try and tune in?
Meanwhile, Ford's most recent newsworthy incident came in a crass message:
The last thing was, Olivia Gondek says that I wanted to eat her p*ssy," Ford said casually. "I've never said that in my life before. I would never do that. I'm happily married. I've got more than enough to eat at home."
Classy as always, Rob. Check out what Jon Stewart had to say on Comedy Central's The Daily Show about the latest Ford quote:
