It really looks like pop star Louis Tomlinson can't catch a break in regards to Twitter controversy recently. Earlier this week, the "Story of My Life" singer was labeled "irresponsible" by fans after accidentally endorsing an "intense" weight loss supplement and now his account has been hacked!
Luckily for Tomlinson, he handled the hacking situation as best he could by deleting the inappropriate tweet that had been posted and following it up with a quick apology. Though the original tweet has since been deleted, followers still saw it. It read: "F*** you b*tches !!!!!!!!!"
Clearly Tomlinson wouldn't send such a message to his 14 million followers and devoted fans, so people didn't really know what to make of it. But Louis found out and quickly handled the situation with the following tweet:
Got woke up to find out I got hacked ! Working on re-following people now sorryyyyy :( Big loveeee!!
— Louis Tomlinson (@Louis_Tomlinson) November 20, 2013
As you can tell from the above tweet, the hacking of the 21-year-old's Twitter account also resulted in some "unfollowing." But as he informed his followers, he would attempt to follow all of the accounts that were affected by this hack as he had done before.
This hacking isn't the end of the world, but what if the hacker had tweeted something a bit more thought out. Tomlinson is a very influential celebrity, so hackers can easily cause a lot of trouble by taking over a Twitter account like his. Let's just be happy that Louis found out as soon as he did.
