We're getting closer and closer to some new Star Wars Episode VII announcements since filming is supposed to start early in 2014, but right now our focus is on the writer/director J.J. Abrams. The young director has taken on a huge task, especially now that he took over writing duties with Lawrence Kasdan, but some pressure has been taken off of his shoulders with the release fate of his film being pushed to December 2015.
In a recent interview with MTV, the director admits that the push was a big relief for him and that now he can focus on creating the movie he wants. He also does a great Jar-Jar Binks impression that is worth noting!

It's a good thing that Abrams is viewing this release date push as a positive because there was a lot of rumors that came out of the news. Now that he is standing firmly behind the studio's decision on the later release, we can ignore these rumors.
Meanwhile, composer John Williams is returning to score yet another Star Wars film and he could not be more excited to do so.
"It's been, for whatever reason, always a wonderful relationship," the composer explained. "Since he is younger than I am, I will try to keep up with him, do the music for 'Indiana Jones 5.' I will try to keep up with the other gentlemen, including JJ Abrams, who's doing 'Star Wars VII,' and we will see how long my eyesight will hold out. -That's the present state of things."
