The last time we checked, Katy Perry was back together with John Mayer and seemed very happy, so why are there rumors of her going on a date with One Direction's Niall Horan? Both Perry and Horan were spotted going into the Soho House around the same time, so rumors started spreading just on that. Are these two sneaking around behind Mayer's back or is there something we're overlooking?

These dating rumors might be a bit exaggerated, but don't forget that the two were being particularly flirty on Twitter and Instagram earlier in the year. Don't you recall how Niall proposed to Katy and then the two met up in order to announce their engagement?

According to Niall himself, nope.

"No," Horan said. "I was in there and I think she was doing an interview or something and she was there. I was leaving and she left and we didn't have dinner or anything together."

The Midnight Memories crooner added: "I just said, 'Hello' to her."

Just a simple "Hello" for the Instagram couple, it seems. Sorry to further this rumor just a little more for some fun, but it looks like this one was not even close to true.
