Kanye West may have just started a new trend. From the looks of it, Yeezy won't be the only Chi-Town rapper signing deals with Adidas.
That's right. Rapper Chief Keef eluded that he may be signing an endorsement deal with the legendary shoe brand. Here's what he tweeted out:
"Finna gone head f--k wit Adidas Let em spnsor me #AdiGang." Interesting but guess Keef is ready to make some boss moves of his own.
Adidas has a long standing relationship with the hip-hop community. In fact, one of the most popular artists the shoe brand endorsed was iconic hip-hop group Run DMC.
This would be Chief Keef's third endorsement deal. The rapper earned an endorsement deal with Been Trill Clothing and hints at his own line of Beats Headset through his Interscope Recording contract.
Aside from working on endorsement deals, the "Don't Like" rapper is currently prepping his third mixtape of the year, Bang pt. 3.
Who knows, maybe the two Chi-Town rappers will collab on an Adidas project or maybe some more music. The two previously worked together on the remix of Keef's "Don't Like." The track was featured on G.O.O.D. Music's Cruel Summer album.
Kanye officially announced that his Adidas collection will be released in September 2014. The collection will include both men's and women's sportswear.
It should be interesting having these two under the same brand. What do you think? Do you have any expectations for Adidas working with Kanye West and possibly Chief Keef?
